Setting myGoals.com as Your Browser's Homepage
If running Internet Explorer: Select Tools>Internet Options from the main browser window. On the General tab, change the Home page Address field to: http//www.mygoals.com
If running Netscape: Select Edit>Preferences from the main browser window, then click the Navigator option. Next, change the Home page Location field to: http//www.mygoals.com
Editing Your Account Information
You can change your name, primary email, secondary email, gender (yes, gender), zip code,
age, and country information as often as you need to via the Edit Profile page. You can also change the format of the emails you receive from this page.
Follow these steps to update your profile:
- After you log in, click your profile from the top navigation bar.
- Make necessary changes to your account information.
- Click Update Profile to save your changes.
Changing Your Password
You can change your password via the Edit Profile page by following these steps:
- After you log in, click your profile from the top navigation bar.
- Click the Change Password link in the upper right corner of the page.
- When the Edit Password page displays, enter your current password twice, then your new password.
- Click Save Password to save your new password.
Closing/Cancelling Your myGoals.com Account
To protect our goal-setters from losing valuable goal information from accidental account closures, users who wish to cancel their myGoals.com account must do so via the Your Account page.
To cancel your account immediately:
- Log into your myGoals.com account (if you're not logged in already).
- Click the Your Account button at the top of your myGoals homepage. The Edit Account Information page will display.
- Click the Close This Account link at the bottom of the Edit Account Information page.
- When prompted, reconfirm your intent to close your account by clicking the "YES, close this account now" button.
