Setting Reminders      What's a Reminder?

Setting/Editing a Reminder for a Task
We recommend that you set a reminder for each task in any GoalPlan, whether it's a pre-made GoalPlan or one that you've created using the Goal-Setting Wizard. We default each task reminder to be delivered to you via email once per week, but we encourage you to change the setting as often as you need to. You might find that you'd like to reminded about a specific task once a week and another on the 15th of every month.

Follow these steps to set reminders while creating a goal using the Goal-Setting Wizard or from your GoalPlan page:

  1. From Step 3 in the Goal-Setting Wizard, click the Edit button next to the task for which you want to set a reminder. Or, if you are changing the reminder on a task in an existing GoalPlan, first click on the appropriate GoalPlan on the left menu then click the Edit button next to the task for which you want to set a reminder.

    The Edit Reminder page displays.

If you chose once, choose the date you want to receive the reminder.

If you chose weekly, choose the which day of the week you want to receive it.

If you chose monthly, choose the day of the month you want to receive it.

If you chose prior to due date, enter the number of days prior to the due date you want to receive the reminder.

If you chose random, indicate whether you'd like to receive a random reminder a few times a week, a few times a month, or a few times a year.

  3. Click Save Changes to save the reminder settings.
