  1. How does it work?

You simply fill out our quick and easy
online form to instantly and automatically become a myGoals.com affiliate. Then we'll then provide you with HTML links that you can embed anywhere in your site or newsletter. You can point people to either our homepage, our goal-setting tips, or any premade Goalplan accessible from the public (non-logged-in) portion of our site. When someone clicks on your myGoals.com affiliate link and subscribes, you'll earn $1.00 when their 10-day trial period ends and their monthly service fee begins (when they become a paying subscriber). You'll continue to earn $1.00 each and every month that they remain a myGoals.com user—forever. Furthermore, if someone clicks on your affiliate link and signs up as an affiliate, you'll earn $.50 for every new paying subscriber they refer to myGoals.com.

Our affiliate program was designed to provide anyone who has access to the Web the opportunity to earn a recurring commission for promoting myGoals.com. That said, we expect our most successful affiliates to be individuals and entities who have a Web site with substantial traffic and/or visitors, Webmasters with great influence on their visitors (like Webloggers); moderators of a chat room, message board, or mailing list; or anyone who writes for or publishes an online newsletter. First, providing a link to myGoals.com gives your Web site, newsletter, or mailing list audience access to powerful tools that help them set, manage and reach any goal. Everybody sets goals! And people set goals about everything!

  12. When do I get paid?

  13. At the end of every quarter, we'll calculate your commissions and if you've earned at least $25, we'll send you a check. If you've earned less than $25, we'll roll your commissions over to the next quarter.

Example 1: Jane sends 30 people to myGoals.com in January and 20 of them register. By March, 15 people stay subscribed to myGoals.com. So, at the end of March, Jane earns $15. Since her earnings are less than $25, the $15 is rolled into her next quarter earnings. Jane only needs to earn $10 during the next quarter to get a check.

Example 2: (sub-affiliate) Jake sends 50 people to myGoals.com in January and 30 of them register. Furthermore, 40 people click on Jake's affiliate link and sign up as affiliates at myGoals.com, becoming Jake's sub-affiliates. By March 30, 25 of the people Jake sent stay subscribed to myGoals.com and 10 of the people sent by his sub-affiliates stay subscribed as well. So, in April, Jake earns $35 and receives a check for his 1st Quarter earnings.

On June 2, after Jacq has exceed her 10-day free trial, Jacq's credit card is charged for the next month's fee ($5.95). She is now a "paying subscriber." (If a user registers but cancels before his or her 10-day trial period ends, they never become a "paying subscriber.")
