We at myGoals.com are passionate about and committed to helping people accomplish whatever they set out to do. In order to do that well, we need to understand some things about our users, in particular, what it is they want to accomplish. As many goals are very personal, we take pride in and value nothing more than the high degree of trust that we have earned among our users. To that end, we zealously protect our users' information and will never ever ever make personally identifiable information available to any outside entity.

Information Collection and Use
myGoals.com, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways other than those disclosed in this statement. myGoals.com, Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Registration
In order to use most features on this Web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their full name name (which is used to personalize their goal-setting pages and to authorize credit card transactions), their credit card information (which is used to initiate and authorize credit card transactions), and email address (which is used to contact the user about services on our site for which they have expressed interest and to enable the user to use myGoals.com's email reminder feature). The user is also required to provide their zip code and country of residence, which enables myGoals.com to deliver services specifically related to a user's geographic area. Furthermore, the user is required to tell us how they heard about the service and which type of email format (HTML or ASCII) they wish to receive.
Although users receive 10 days free use of myGoals.com, we require users to supply valid credit card information in order to create an account. A user's credit card will automatically be charged $5.95 eleven (11) days after he/she has registered unless the user cancels their account (via the Edit Account page) during the 10 day trial period.
As described below, this information may be shared in aggregate form with our partners and advertisers, but never in a way that is linked to an individual person.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. To use most features of myGoals.com, the user must set their browser to accept cookies. (Some features, such as auto login, are not available to users who have cookies disabled on their browsers.)
myGoals.com may store two forms of cookies on a user's computer: an "auto-login" cookie and a "user session" cookie. myGoals.com places the auto-login cookie only on computers of registered users who have opted in to use the "remember me" feature. The "remember feature" enables registered users to bypass the manual login process on return visits to myGoals.com. In other words, by setting a cookie on our site, the user does not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. This cookie is persistent and remains on the user's computer until they delete it. This cookie contains the user's username and encrypted password.
The session cookie enables myGoals.com to recognize that a given series of interactions originate from the same user and therefore constitute a session. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.
The myGoals.com goal-setting site contains links to other online resources which may or may not use cookies on their site when you click through to them. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
Log Files
myGoals.com, Inc. collects IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We also collect the user's browser type and version number in order to make technology decisions. Additionally, we track the number of sessions initiated by a given user and the user's session length in order to identify power users and to test our site's overall usability. Finally, we track usage of links that point off of the site. We do not correlate this tracking with personally identifiable information.
Sharing
myGoals.com, Inc. may share aggregated demographic and site usage information with our advertisers in instances where they require demographic information (such as zip code) to target and price advertisements effectively. Additionally, we may share aggregated information with co-brand partners (partner sites that provide their users with customized myGoals functionality), in order to enable them to personalize and otherwise enhance the users experience.
Furthermore, when we form a partnership with another service provider to provide other goal-setting services (such as goal coaching) and the user signs up for the service via the partner's site, the user will be able to share their name and/or other contact information via a new, unique sign-up page that is necessary for the third party to contact them in order to provide these services.
These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that myGoals.com, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to become familiar with privacy statements of each and every Web site they visit that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by the myGoals.com Web site.
Newsletter
We enable the user to subscribe to our newsletter by checking the "Receive Newsletter" field on the registration page. The user can also change this setting (i.e., subscribe or unsubscribe) via the Edit Profile page. (An unsubscribe mechanism is also available from within the newsletter.)
Referrals, Challenges, and Public Commitments
If a user elects to use our referral service to inform a friend about our site, we will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. myGoals.com stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
If a user elects to use our Public Commitment feature, myGoals.com asks the user for the friend's name and email address. myGoals.com will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to respond to the user's commitment. The recipient's email address is not stored in a database.
Special Offers
myGoals.com, Inc. sends all new members a welcome email to verify their username and password. Established members will occasionally receive our newsletter and offers from myGoals.com, Inc. partners. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to decline these types of communications. Please see the choice/opt-out section below.
Communication
myGoals.com, Inc. also sends the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email.
If a user's personally identifiable information changes or if a user no longer desires our service, myGoals.com, Inc. will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can be done by visiting the preferences link off of the account page or by emailing our Customer Service department at service@myGoals.com.

Please visit the Edit Profile page of our Web site and uncheck the box related to sending information to you via email. Other companies to whom we have provided your Data may independently send you communications. Please contact those companies directly if you do not wish to receive communications from them. If you do not want your Data provided to other companies, please notify us at privacy@mygoals.com.
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter may opt-out of receiving these communications by visiting the preferences link off of the account page and specifying the appropriate settings.
Notification of Changes
If at any point myGoals.com, Inc. decides to use personally identifiable information in a manner other than that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
