Phoenix, AZ — March 1, 2001 — In response to yesterday's severe earthquake that rocked the Pacific Northwest, myGoals.com today announced a "pre-made Goalplan" that helps people prepare their homes for an earthquake.
"Being ready for an earthquake is not difficult," said Anthony Helmstetter, CEO of myGoals.com, "but it does require a good plan and some follow-through, which is where myGoals.com can help."
myGoals.com is a Web-based service that helps people set any kind of goal and then keeps them on track with user-defined email reminders. The newly launched service is currently free during its beta test period.
In addition to helping people create their own Goalplans from scratch, myGoals.com provides "pre-made Goalplans" that are written by editors and come pre-loaded with expert information, making goal-setting fast and easy. The Goalplan entitled "To Be Prepared for an Earthquake" includes advice from the American Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, organized into a step-by-step plan that people can easily customize to suit their needs.
